• Always focus on the bigger Pic - YOU •

Hi there!

Tonights blog post is about the question: How do remain focused on YOU??? The last few weeks have been pretty challenging for me to remain focused. Is it me, or is it influences from other things that are keeping me feeling this way?

Yesterday, I sat down and took a step back and thought about all the things going on in my life -currently. I wrote and made a list and realized that the reason I am feeling this way is because I am letting it happen. I am letting myself get trapped.

All my feelings have been an accumulation of habits and emotions building inside, which have ultimately resulted in me being unmotivated.

I’ve realized I needed to make a few changes and wanted to write this to give some inspiration in knowing you’re not alone! I struggle daily with keeping myself motivated and inspired.

Somethings that have helped me the past days to stay focused are:

• Let go •

Let go of yesterday’s problems and move past it. I’ve realized that I worry way too much about things. It is clear that I have always overthought things. This will only keep your thinking backwards and you will never reach your goals. You learn from the mistakes and move on.

• Journal your ideas •

Writing your thoughts and feelings really do waken creative energy. Yesterday, I sat down and wrote out ideas I had weekly for my blog. It helped me to focus and dig deeper into what I want to share with you all and what I would like to accomplish daily.

• Do a 30 minute workout •

Exercise is good for the soul. Recently, I joined a gym and I have enjoyed taking the time to refocus on building physical strength. The time at the gym allows me to take a mental break too from social media - very good for your mental well-being. 🙂 (personally speaking)

• Don’t compare yourself •

Know and understand that everyone goes at different passes. Where you are is where you're supposed to be in that moment, but it is only temporary! I admit I am the worst at comparing myself to others. Just know that people only put their best out there and NO one is perfect.

• Take a break •

Its okay to give yourself a break from things like social media, negative people and television (especially the news). Too much time on it can be depressing if you allow it to consume your time. It’s okay to put people on mute (there really is a Instagram option for this) so that you have a more positive environment.

I am writing this in hopes you find inspiration, but also to give myself a reminder each day to follow these words. It is easy to go back to certain feelings and old ways. But I hope to each day get better at focusing on myself and to stop comparing.
