Nicole Louis Jewelry

Oh hey, Angie here!

One thing I absolutely can NOT live without are my accessories. One piece can completely change your entire outfit and your mood. (For real.) I especially like the necklaces from Nicole Louis Jewelry. They are LITerally my current obsession! I own so many of her pieces I've had to make a display just for them in my room. (I know, a little obsessive.) But they are the perfect go-to accessory for any outfit and is why I wanted to share them you. Plus, they are handmade right in Apex, NC and I love to supporting local business in the area.

Nicole Louis Jewelry

All are designed using beads, tassels and acrylic inlays that give elegance to any outfit. Like shown here worn with a basic white tee and jeans. All come in different colors and designs. As you can see I really like the neutral ones (besides the red). Perfect to go from daytime to evening wear!

Nicole Louis Jewelry

You can find most of her pieces in small boutiques like Sophie and Mollies Boutique in downtown Apex, or follow her @nicolelouisxoxo on instagram.

I've spent a lot of time in Atlanta being a sales rep. Going there each market for the apparel and gift shows 7 times a year. Here are my top 10 places you must check out if you only have 48 hours!

Atlanta Wall Mural

A two day itinerary:

Day 1:

1. The Georgia Aquarium -

This aquarium is one of the largest in the US and is definitely one of the top places to check out. (I felt like a child again, but is perfect for a date with your s/o.<3.) I would try to get there early and plan a full day visit. There is a LOT to see while inside, including a dolphin and seal show you don't want to miss! You will find your self captured in ahh over the large whale and shark tanks. They do have restaurants inside for a quick lunch if you get hungry.

2. If you have time I also recommend going to the Coca-Cola museum directly across from the aquarium. You don't need a full day to visit, but maybe a couple hours to check out all the Coca-Cola memorbilia and soda tastings.

3. There is also Centennial Park where the olympics were held, the CNN building, the varsity and don't forget to take a pic of the big ferris wheel!

Atlanta Ferris Wheel

4. Ray's in the City -

Atlanta has some of the best places to eat. If you are willing to splurge a little, Rays in the City is located close to the aquarium and has a nice ambience with steak and seafood offerings. They are pricy but a great place to enjoy a live pianist and a quiet dinner.

5. The Sundial:

This revolving cocktail bar is located on the 71st-73th floor of the Westin hotel. I know scary! But if you can brave the glass elevator to the top it is totally worth the view. AMAZ-ing! I highly recommend going during sunset to capture the 360 degree views of the downtown area. Here you can also see Stone Mountain, the Mercedes dome and Buckhead. Walking distance from Rays and the perfect place to end your evening with, well of course a drink!

6. The Polaris:

If you want a more intimate experience, The Polaris also offers a revolving floor and 360 degree views of downtown. Here you will be taken back to the 50's with the decor. Located on top of the Hyatt Hotel and if you go during the day you can see the bee keepers on top of the building and the only peachtree in downtown. Yes, you heard me.. bees! These bees produce most of the honey used for all food and drinks on the menu.

Day 2:

7. Lennox Square Mall -

The mall has a nice selection of high-end luxury stores and is walkable to all the cool architecture that the area offers. The mall is a straight shot on the Marta to Buckhead (where Lennox is located). If going on the weekend make sure to check the Marta schedule for times. I used Marta when staying in the Buckhead area to avoid Atlanta traffic, but a Uber/Lyft ride from downtown isn't too expensive if shared.

8. True Food Kitchen -

Want to grab a dinner? True Food Kitchen has healthy and vegan options and located right in the mall.

9. Sprinkles -

After dinner grab a cupcake next door at Sprinkles, you can go inside or order through their cupcake atm. - How cute is that!

10. Whisky Blue -

The perfect place to unwind after a long day of shopping at the Lennox! On-top of the W hotel in Buckhead, here you can see the entire skyline of Downtown Atlanta. I am all about a good view!
